Why fake people hurt their brand, image, and value

The advantages of being yourself in a world full of liars

I hate fake people who pretend to have what they don’t have. Did you know that people who lie end up regretting it when reality knocks on the door? This is why fake people hurt their brand, image, and value when you lie.

Here’s an example of a silly situation where a liar was caught red-handed. I was walking down the road next to my house, and a guy was walking towards me from the opposite side. I noticed that he was on his phone because he was laughing out loud. But as our paths crossed, an embarrassing moment happened. Mid-conversation, his phone rang, and it rattled him, which made me notice that his phone had been off all along. The moral of the story is that don’t pretend because one day you’ll commit a dangerous act that has dire consequences.

What if he made a conscious decision not to be a pretender… How would it change his behavior?

How to live a happy lifestyle by not pretending

Is it worth it to live a lie and hope that people don’t catch you? It’s sad when people are caught because it compromises your dignity. It exposes you in an X-rated way, and the trust factor dies from the other person. Being real is good because you don’t have to pretend to be something you’re not. It helps you live a life that has little coercion, which saves you from following bad trends that others are doing. Be real and say no. Don’t pretend to like something when you know it will affect you. Don’t allow your life to be easily swayed, or you’ll hurt yourself when you can not keep up or maintain fake lifestyles. Be your own person, and you’ll see how liberating it is to love yourself for yourself and not others.

Why fake people hurt their brand, image, and value

I’ve lost touch with close people I used to trust until they revealed their true colors. It’s sad because for a long time, I used to share my secrets with them only to find out that my secrets weren’t safe. When you break the trust in a relationship, it’s very hard to get it back, and if you want to build strong bonds, be someone a person can trust. Who can keep secrets safe, and help someone when asked.

Be a trustworthy person, don’t get caught living a lie, and it’s important to practice emotional intelligence development if you’re going to grow. Be yourself and be good to people because that worth has value and the influence that comes with it opens many doors.

Conclusion

The reason why fake people hurt their brand, image, and value is because they don’t respect themselves. The advantage of being real is that when you learn to care for others, you work hard to be honest in a world full of liars
