But don’t show your anger to everyone or you’ll become that person whom everyone knows yells a lot but achieves nothing.

Being the bigger person doesn’t mean you win all of your fights. Losing most of them enables you to achieve your targeted goals in the long run. I don’t mind losing. Coming off as the one who lost when I am confronted by people. Life is a game of chess, you allow people to win the battle today only for you to win the war tomorrow. 1. Don’t shout back because it allows the other person to feed off of it.
2. You’re reasonable. A cool and slow to speak person is able to transmit it and bring calm to the situation.
3. Look for a compromise. Does the situation call for an apology or an agreement? You can agree to disagree by moving forward and finding common ground.

How to stop belligerent emotional outbursts

Don’t be reckless. Don’t be rude even if the situation calls for it. Let people see the wrong person between the two of you. Winning the war is the ultimate goal. Stoop low to conquer knowing you’re winning either way. I always thought people who smile back when people are laughing at them proves weakness. But in time I realized that they’re the most powerful of all.
