You’re your worst critic and you practice it too well

Stop fighting yourself

Self-destruction occurs when you sabotage a good thing. In the beginning, why do you pursue something with great potential, only to let it fall to the ground and break? Because when your heart gives up on your goal the potential of failure grows. When you lack the confidence in something it will not flourish.

Have you ever started something and it failed? It did not fail because it was wrong but it’s because your drive and effort wasn’t there. Have you ever set back and thought to yourself why did that not succeed? If I had given 10% more to it the result would be different today?

You then fight yourself over not achieving success when it was your doing which led to failure. Though it’s important to move on. Don’t linger on these thoughts of failure. Forming a one person debate where you rip yourself apart punishing yourself because you didn’t accomplish a certain goal.

Stop fighting yourself

You’re your worst critic. You do it too well and it builds anxiety and fear. Meaning you grow the belief that you cannot succeed even if you try. The result of harming yourself is that you will end up not pursuing things further. Your current situation is the best you can do and you won’t jeopardize it regardless of the lifestyle you’re living.

Do something because it will benefit your life. No matter the fear or anxiety when you start to believe in yourself it works. You will win some and lose some of your battles but in the end 10% more action each time delivers success. Stop fighting yourself. It’s not worth the weight and pain it delivers. You don’t need to hurt yourself. You don’t need that added stress in your life.

Many times you see people suffering but when you look around them you wonder where the actual source of pain is coming from. The person doesn’t have any visible injuries but their behavior resembles a person who has been hit by a car. You can see it when they walk, talk, and behave that something is not right.

When your soul is hurting believe me we can all see it. Troubles from within are the worst. Outside pain can be mitigated. We remove you from the thing causing you pain and it works. But fighting yourself from within. Self-harm is a dangerous poison. Your thoughts can build you up or destroy your life if you stay in the same pattern of harming yourself.

How to stop fighting yourself

Challenges will always be there. The attitude you bring to the challenge determines how well you deal with it. Okay! I failed but that doesn’t mean I cannot try again. Okay! That sucked but it’s fine I’ll fix it next time. Okay! What was I thinking? I’m useless as a person, I’ll never succeed. Between the 3 emotional reactions above, I choose 2 out of the 3 possible reactions to view the challenge in a positive way. Yes, I failed but so what! I can try again until I succeed. 10% more effort is the tool I use in my life.

If something is hard you just need 10% more action and it gets better. I believe in you. Don’t fight yourself because you do more harm than good.

Conclusion

I believe in you and that’s why I’m helping you today. Keep your chin up because you’re your biggest asset in this world. If you harm yourself how can you overcome outside challenges? You cannot succeed outside until you have emotional control in your life.
