When last did you breathe… and exhale out because you removed some of the weight off of your shoulders?

How to let go of stress and why it’s important

What stresses you, and is it stress you can let go? Some of our stress is cultivated by us whereby we become comfortable with having a troubled mind. We have so many issues going on in our lives we pile new issues on top of old issues that we don’t let go. And by the time we realise how affected we are by everything it leads to a collapse of our emotional system.

Your emotional system has 7 basic emotions. “Rage, Seeking, Fear, Lust, Care, Grief (formerly Panic), and Play.” As described by The National Library of Medicine, ncbi.nlm.nih.gov.

When you don’t control these emotions and you allow them to overwhelm you it can lead to depression. Your body needs exercise. Your mind needs training and development. Everyday we go through at least one of the 7 emotions. If you don’t learn how to deal with life obstacles (which happen daily) you can be triggered easily.

If you don’t manage how you react to your feelings you will pile up things you should have ignored, dealt with on the spot, or fought off. Don’t carry unnecessary baggage. It’s not worth hurting yourself in the long run.

How to avoid a collapse of your emotional system

Have you ever watched a scene in a movie where a person falls to the ground and weeps because they broke a plate? Or the mailman hands them a simple brochure with a beautiful picture, and it overwhelms the other person? This reaction is a byproduct triggered by their emotional system which has collapsed. A result of not dealing with the stressful issues in their life.

It’s because he or she piled up stress and did not let it go. To a point where a plate falling to the ground is what triggered their emotions, which became the straw which broke the camels back.

Why it’s important to exhale

Why it’s important to let go of things which are beyond your control

You cannot fix everything. You can try by yourself and that’s why a lot of people suffer from stress related illnesses. If you cannot solve an issue please ask for help. Get help for the things you cannot control. If you lack finances to pay your bills, get help. Go to a place which can help you get out of debt. An environment which can teach you how to budget. Where to cut costs. Why it’s important to think about money and how to spend it wisely in your life.

If your stress is because of a relationship. Get help for it. Go see a counselor. Talk to someone about it. If your stress is because of someone in your life. Get help for it. If you need help, talk to someone about it. You cannot fix everything in your life and it’s important to look for solutions to your problems.

Keeping issues bottled up is not good. Because when byproducts of stress start to show they can hurt you and the people you love. Release the overwhelming knot in your stomach. Don’t pretend to be okay when you’re not. Less stress in your life means a more productive lifestyle you can live. You are more focused. A better individual to yourself and others. A person full of hope, who has gratitude, and peace.

Conclusion

Why it’s important to exhale. When you get rid of stress you can dream, you’re not limited, and everything becomes possible. When you get rid of stress you sleep better, you have clear conversations, you don’t lie, you know yourself and your capabilities. People will see it and resonate to you.
