Why it’s important to fight until you succeed

In the animal kingdom, a honey badger is one of the toughest animals in the wild. The honey badger will wholeheartedly fight back for its life and food. It defends itself against the world, and that’s why I emulate its heart and perseverance. If you want a key on how to break free from the grips of poverty. Choose an animal spirit to emulate. I’m African, and my surname is Ngwenya. Which means crocodile in Ndebele. I like that my surname has a meaning, and when I introduce myself to people who understand it, they chant it back to me. It emboldens me and gives me self-motivation.

Why I should choose an animal spirit to emulate?

Do you emulate celebrities? A person who dreams about becoming a singer looks up to a famous singer or songwriter. I look up to Warren Buffett because in business, he’s what I want to become. Likewise, discovering the beauty of an animal can have advantages in your life. I know of people who lack motivation. If you give them tools, they don’t use them. If you give them advice, it’s never implemented. I remember telling someone about my totem, which means crocodile, and it excited them. The key to success is to use what you have at your disposal.

Use an animal spirit to find inspiration. When I feel depressed I look up to the honey badger and remember that he doesn’t give up. If someone is pushing me, I remember to take care of my heart and remain strong because the honey badger doesn’t give in. Google and animal that interests you and emulate its perseverance. Don’t give up no matter how hard your life is because poverty is something you can overcome.

How do you break free from the grips of poverty?

I’ve tried so many get rich quick schemes, and I’ve discovered that it takes hard work and determination in order to succeed. You can not cheat if you want real success. You can not bend the rules, and you don’t face repercussions. Success wants to see your efforts before it opens the doors. If you need proof, just look at all the successful people around us. They all worked really hard, and some of them have humble beginnings, but through hard work, they managed to succeed.

The void of poverty can weigh heavily on your heart. It can cause stress and anxiety, but it’s something you can overcome. Do not think that being rich is the only key to success. As long as you can pay your bills, have some money saved for a rainy day, and you’re able to consistently have money in your pocket, that’s my goal for you. I used to live a life where I couldn’t reach payday with money saved in my account or pocket, and that’s no way to live.

Conclusion

How do you break free from the grips of poverty? Try your level best all the time, and one day, one day, you will see victory. If the honey badger and my crocodile totem inspire me, I can fight back like the honey badger, and I can be quiet and persevere like the crocodile. Your life is what you make of it, and if you’re determined to succeed, I guarantee that in the end you will.
