The advantages of dealing with issues in real-time

Why skipping to the end of healing doesn't work

As much as it would be ideal to skip bad parts, you have to go through hard times to overcome them. You don’t get cheat codes… in order for the healing process to run its course, you have to go through life teachings.

For example, I have lived… I have gone through what I deem to be a lot; but there are people out there who’d wish for my challenges, compared to their own. Life is hard. It has ups and downs, and you have to go through all of it. Walking through the valleys of shadow and death, and coming out the other side wiser is the key to emotional development.

You go through life’s obstacles and you overcome them no matter what. You expect obstacles and you hold on no matter what. You don’t see them. You don’t expect them at a certain time but they come anyway, and you hold on, and you hold on until it’s over. Never give up. Don’t fail yourself because a challenge seemed too hard to get through. All challenges have solutions. There’s always a light at the end of the tunnel. There’s always something you can do to reach the next level.

Good challenges, and by this I mean the bad one’s, make you feel violated. Whereby you’re always contemplating and asking yourself questions. Like, How can others be happy but I’m sad? When is my time coming? Why haven’t my chances rewarded me? And, Why oh why… am I so broke! You go through this period more so when you have dreams which seem to be dragging. It always gets harder before the tunnel exit appears. And that’s why believing in yourself is key.

The disadvantages of skipping to the end of the healing process

When you don’t fix your issues in real-time, and you ignore them. Next time they’ll be worse. And it’s people who compartmentalize their issues and hope that they’ll fix them in the future, who suffer the most. Why don’t you fix them now and be done with it? Why prolong pain only to experience it again in the future? Don’t be afraid to change if that’s what can help you. Don’t be afraid to ask for help if that’s what you need.

Why overcoming a bad period in your life is important

People always say, whatever you’re going through gets better over time. Which is true to those who’ve gone through something. But when it’s your experience. When you’re knee-deep in your troubles; such words feel inadequate. Questioning, How can I see the light at the end of the tunnel when it’s pitch black? Be rest assured, as long as you hold on… as long as you meet your challenges head-on you’ll overcome them.

Why? Because help is available. Someone you need or something you need can be located. It’s your action which determines success or failure.

Conclusion

Your willpower helps you get through difficult times. We need to deal with our issues and learn from them. Why? Because there’s always a silver lining when you ask for help.
