This is the power of staying composed in any situation

Have you ever watched a game where the coach is cool regardless of the win or loss. Either the people around them are filled with joy. Or a dark atmosphere would’ve covered the whole field. But the coach is cool, composed, and alert. However, inside of them the coach may be experiencing an F5 tornado destroying everything. Or they can be experiencing beautiful butterflies flying in a meadow and you wouldn’t see it. A composed person is very hard to read, which is a good thing.
Not to say don’t show happiness. Not to say do not cry. Being consistent for yourself and not others is golden. Being able to comprehend what’s going on around you without reacting badly enables you to have a 360 degree view of the situation. Road rage is a perfect example of a person who has no emotional balance. It’s possible that he or she left their house smiling and full of joy. But the next trending social media video could be seeing the person smashing a cars window while cursing out the other driver.
So how do you go from a calm state to full rage mode is because you don’t practice having a consistent mindset. Both in good and bad times you must practice staying calm. It’s so simple but a lot of us don’t get it. The key is to practice minding your own business. And if someone tries to share their bad business with you, don’t take it. It’s that simple. I watched a trending social media video where a “Man was killed in dispute over not saying thank you at a Brooklyn smoke shop.” Emphasis on killed for not saying thank you at a smoke shop. Why having a consistent emotional flow is golden
Can you imagine losing your life because you confronted someone for not saying thank you, to you? Sounds unreal, because it’s common sense to say thank you after a kind gesture. But times are different and something common is no longer common. I only wish that you don’t become a statistic. Mind your business, do the right thing, and if someone doesn’t see it. Atleast you tried.
Don’t get caught up in bad behavior. Steer clear from bad habits and people. Your life is precious, live it well, and continue to develop your well-being. A consistent emotional flow benefits your life tremendously. I can attest to this. Because people favor calm and mentally strong people.
- Why having a consistent emotional flow is golden
You cannot become a fighter pilot if you’re easily triggered. The speed and reaction time doesn’t allow reckless emotions in the cockpit. So in life, think fast is the game and always remain calm. Remember the fighter pilot mentality. Your emotional strength allows you to have a 360 degree comprehension of the situation. You back away in tense situations, and you appreciate beautiful moments vividly.
Conclusion
It’s not bad to walk away. You’re never a coward if you have a lot to lose. I certainly do so I know my worth. The hard work I’ve endured to develop my success and well-being will not be lost because I didn’t remain calm.
