The key lesson to learn as time goes on is that everyone’s depth of perception varies. Some of the things you take into consideration and focus on are not equally matched with those of others. This is what makes things work but can also cause them to break at the same time (bleep, tell ’em — in 2 Chainz’s voice). It’s essential to understand that your motives and vision are unique to you and you alone! They should be respected as such. There have been countless times when I’ve felt like I was thriving on an island by myself, many times when I’ve felt that nobody could relate to or comprehend what I was dealing with during difficult moments. I’m here simply to reiterate that most things are bigger than you. Identify your place in the world, respect other people’s actions, whether you agree or disagree, and understand that people are primarily motivated by analyzing their own lives and managing their affairs to sustain life, just like you.
